The first ever edition of Find Some Times (FST) Rookie Year List is here and it’ll include 13 Rappers/Artist. I decided to break down the Rappers/Artist into sections of which states they are from. Everyone on this list was picked by Spencer Ingle but how these Rappers/Artist were picked was based off their numbers on their music or I picked them based on projecting their longevity in the music industry. Also, every artist I find has been through a friend, someone on twitter, random YouTube/SoundCloud searches but this list is based on rising and talented artist who will be here in the music industry for awhile. once again the rappers/artist will be braked down be their states. Florida will be the first state to see who’s on the Rookie Year List. Florida has the most on the list with four Rappers/Artist.
FLORIDA
JACKBOY
JackBoy was born in Pompano Beach, Florida and raised in Florida his whole life. JackBoy started messing around with music as a teen but he really wasn’t inspired to take music seriously until after he spent sometime in jail but 2016 was the year he started to make a name with his two popular songs “Missing You” and Bossed up”. Since then JackBoy has signed with Kodak Black’s label Sniper Gang and has been dropping projects with them since then. JackBoy has the Florida style from his rapping to his personality and that is a style that will last in the music industry. From me and everyone from Florida FREE KODAK. DEE WATKINS
Dee Watkins was born and raised on the northern side of Florida in Jacksonville. He’s a 21 year old rapper that started his career in 2016 he had a song called “Lemme Find Out” that has 1.4 million views from then Dee Watkins has Been getting a bigger fanbase but it has recently really taken off when he dropped “Bad Ass Jit” and “Hell Raiser” that were singles for his debut album “Problem Child”. Dee Watkins has also dropped some other singles like “Goin Broke”. and “Rugrats” that lead to a mixtape by Dee Watkins called “Chosen One” and it included a Remix of his most popular song “Bad Ass Jit” Feat. Young Dolph. Dee Watkins numbers are doing great but after this year he’ll be a super recognizable face in music because he has a real fan base and I fanbase that shows people your music is the best fanbase. Dee Watkins has 652,000 listeners on Spotify, 219k Subscribers on Youtube and the subscriber numbers are about to go up if Dee Watkins keeps shooting music videos with Drew Filmed it all the time. $NOT was raised in Lake Worth, Florida and in high school was when he really realized he can make music because his freshman year of high school he would listen to a lot of young Lean and raider clan. Thats when he bought a mic and created his rap name which was just his instagram handle before but one of his first really popular song was called “Excuse Me” and his next was “GOSHA” after that he would drop a bunch more singles but recently in the last year he started getting features with recognizable names in the music community with Lil Tracy and Wifisfuneral. “BERETTA” featuring Wifisfuneral really gave him the biggest song of his career and recently $NOT had his debut album released called -TRADEGY+ the album has been doing great in streams and $NOT is here to stay. $NOTS discography includes: (2020) -TRADEGY+

Danny Towers is from Orlando, Florida where he grew up most his life but it wasn’t until the age of 14 Danny Towers recorded a song over a Kanye West instrumental. 2016 was his first year getting numbers with his songs “DropOut”, “Tetris Freestyle”, and “Jackpot” with Wifisfuneral in the next following year he would work with Ronny J and Ski Mask the slump god. In 2019 was a big year for him with the song “How You Feel?” with Dj Scheme, and Geekin with ski Mask the Slump God. Danny Towers was recently on the stokeley Tour with ski mask, Pop Smoke, DJ Scheme, and Pouya. 1Takejay was born and raised in Compton, California and he went to school at Centennial High School that’s where he meet the OneTakeBoyz members 1TakeTeeZy and 1TakeQuan. They started sharing their music on SoundCloud in 2014 but it wasn’t till 2017 when 1Takejay had his first viral song called “To Da Neck”. Then he dropped his first debut project “Wait Hol’ Up” in 2018. This album had songs on it like “Arco” and “I Like B!tches” this album built his west coast following up more. 1Takejay has worked with Shoreline Mafia, Blueface, and Rucci. 1Takejays west coast style is a hit with how he flows and his words. GUAPDAD4000
Guapdad4000 was born in Oakland, California. He also is a member supergroup Zoink Gang with Buddy, Smino, and JID. many reasons why he should be on this list his first mixtape was released in 2017 called “Scamboy Color”. Guapdad4000 has a huge song that he is featured on with Buddy called ”Shameless”. Throughout 2018 and 2019 Guapdad4000 would release a handful of singles from “Scammin” to “Gucci Pajamas” Feat. Chance the Rapper. In 2019 he was invited to the Dreamvill recording session for “Revenge of the Dreamers III” Which really brought him a huge fanbase from all those great artist on the album. Recently he was featured on Rich Brian new song “Bali” that already is really popular right now. Guapdad4000 will stay relevant not just through his music but because he has a whole YouTube channel for his fans that always has new things from music to vlogs. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan Teejayx6 is a 18 year old rapper who has recently in the past year has built a name for himself through his black Air Force activity or also know as scam rap. Teejayx6 didn’t really start to take music seriously until the age of 16 but only a few years in he has popular songs like “Dark Web” and “Dynamic Duo” with his good friend Kasher Quon. Teejayx6 has been been moving a lot from his past tour to multiple interviews. Teejayx6 started his on flow with the shittyboyz how they just say a word that shouldn’t go there and it confuses you but it is a new and different style than others. Teejay has proven he is here to stay because recently he started working with Metro Boomin. Sada Baby was born in Detroit, Michigan and he would first really get drawn into music through his cousin. Sada Baby first started his rap career in 2013 over the next three years he released numerous songs but in 2016 he was about to quit until he entered a local rap tournament that he won and it quickly revived his rap career. in the following year he released two full length projects that featured some hits like “2K17” and “Free 80s Freestyle”. in 2018, he dropped one of his biggest tracks ever “Bloxk Party” since then Sada Baby popularity has raised sense to get millions of views on his videos on YouTube and 600k monthly listeners on Spotify. Don Toliver born in Houston, Texas has quickly gained a huge fanbase since he started releasing music in 2017. He quickly gained popularity through Tiktok and Travis Scott. Don Toliver is signed to Travis Scotts label Cactus Jack and many people would say that Don Toliver carried the collaboration album “Jackboys” with Travis Scott. Don Toliver was recently featured on “No regrets” with Eminem. Don Toliver has worked with some of the biggest names in rap also he has many different styles and flows. I see Don Toliver being relevant and Popular for awhile. His Music Career is just starting. Don Toliver has 11.7 million monthly listeners and has 409k subscribers on YouTube. If you don’t know who Lil Loaded is yet well hop on the wave the 19 year old rapper that hails from Dallas, Texas. Lil Loaded starting rapping in 2018 but his career didn’t take off till 2019 when a popular YouTuber Tommy Craze was searching for music with close to no views and he played Lil loadeds song “6locc 6a6y”. Since then that song has 16 million views on Spotify but also a lot of his new songs have been getting millions of views. In 2019, he dropped an album called “6locc 6a6y” and then he started of 2020 with a song featuring King Von called “Avatar”. Baby Keem is a rapper born in Las Vegas, Nevada even though his career just started in 2018 he was quick to get to work in 2018 he released his mixtape The Sound of a Bad Habit. then Baby Keem had songwriting and production credits on Kendrick Lamar’s project “Black Panther: The Album, TDE”. Baby Keems second mixtape came out in 2019 named “Die for My Bitch”. Baby Keem had his first song chart “Orange Soda” came out in 2019 and charted at 98. “Orange Soda” as of now has over 85 million plus streams on Spotify and he has 3.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Baby Keem has put himself in a good position with doing songwriting and production on Kendrick Lamars Black panther and “crash Talk” by schoolboy Q. Fredo Bang born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has been tearing up every platforms numbers right now but this has been in the making since in 2014 when Fredo Bang and friend Gee Money dropped songs “ Rainy Day” and “I-Phone 6” in the following year Fredo Bang closed 2015 with “Nothin Wrong”. It wasn’t until 2016 Fredo Bang had his song “Thuggin” go viral and then Fredo Bang got arrested. Around 2018 Fredo Bang dropped his debut mixtape “2 Face Bang” and it was instantly successful a lot of songs off the mixtape are in the millions now. This year he dropped his much anticipated album “Most Hated”. The album includes big name features like Lil Baby, Tee Grizzly, and YNW Melly. Fredo Bangs fan base on YouTube is on another level every video on there is in the multi millions. Fredo Bang has almost a million monthly listeners on Spotify and 383k Youtube subscribers. Jack Harlow reps his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky proudly and shows it in his music video “Whats Poppin”. The 22 year old started his rap career with a mixtape called Extra Credit that he made in seventh grade. It wasn’t until 2015 when he had his first Commercial EP named “The Handsome Harlow”. The following year Jack Harlow released a single “Never Woulda Known” and later that year Vince Staples would come to Louisville and Jack Harlow would open for him. That same year he released another mixtape name “18” that was his first album on his label and music collective, Private Garden. 2017 he released a couple singles “Dark Knight” and “Routine” these songs lead to a mixtape called “Gazebo” and went on a 14 city tour with this mixtape. 2017 Jack Harlow also played on The Who stage at Bonnaroo. 2018 was the breakthrough point for Jack Harlow when he signed to Dj Drama and he had his first viral song “SUNDOWN” since then Jack Harlow hasp out two more albums that have done great. Recently Jack Harlows song “Whats Poppin” has over 500 thousands units sold. Jack Harlow has 14.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and his numbers will just keep getting nigger if he continues to work with lyrical lemonade.
